Workshop Presentation Available on Town’s Website

In case you missed it or you’d like a refresher on what was shown during the Visioning Workshop, the Town made their presentation publicly available on their website.

Participants were asked for input in different ways through polling, direct questions and group sessions.

Heritage buildings and keeping the small town charm seemed to be at the top of people’s concerns throughout the workshop. Increased traffic concerns were acknowledged upfront by the Town, but a clear resolution is yet to be found.

The polling questions focused on issues like scope of change, street-scape, general character and heritage preservation.

Unfortunately, the Town did not publish the instant poll results shown during the Workshop, reasoning that they will be tallied-up and presented together with the preliminary Plan at the Open House Event.

Do you think that the instant poll results should have been made public by the Town together with the Workshop presentation? Comment on Facebook or send us your opinion using the form at the bottom of this page.
