Planning staff work for US, the citizens of Grimsby who pay their salary. The councillors are “US”, we elected them to speak for US, and Councillor Vardy’s point was well taken, and justified by her reason. Where does planning staff get off saying the wording can’t be changed because the “report is done”. The report is done when “we” say the report is done. This to me is the tail wagging the dog. There are far too many instances of this going on in Grimsby right now, in my opinion.
