Please say NO to developers

My wife, children and I moved to beautiful Grimsby two years ago from Toronto. We chose Grimsby because we had enough of the big city developments (condos), traffic, crime and the list goes on. “Grimsby friendly by nature” - we quickly understood the meaning.

A year later I moved my parents in their 80’s because dad has COPD. I explained to dad that I found Grimsby a lot easier to breath because of all the greenery and much less traffic and pollution. Here we are two years later and traffic barely moves on the weekend.

Please keep developers from changing our beautiful green suburban town living into a big city madness and turning our parks to condos and our lawns to roadways. There is a reason for all the flooding in Toronto: there is no land, and parks are all condos. Where does the water drain? In their basements, of course it can’t drain through the asphalt.

Please say NO to developers who want to profit by changing our beautiful small town living into madness like in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington etc.
