Good grief. Do we have no say, ever, for what is good for the character and healthy development of our town? Clearly a five-storey monstrosity is not appropriate for the corner of Main Street East and Nelles Rd.

I agree that developers only care about profit and leave us with the traffic, infrastructure and unsightly, monolithic scar on our historical community. It was my understanding that the Burgess House was to be restored. What happened to that assurance? We have a fight on our hands for the soul of our town. I do not object to development but I strongly feel it needs to add to and maintain the historical beauty of our town
